Affiliate Ethics Charter

InvestorJustice.org’s Affiliate Ethics Charter outlines how partnerships and discounts are selected, reviewed, and disclosed — ensuring all affiliate activity aligns with our mission of investor protection, transparency, and public education.

Last updated: October 2025

InvestorJustice.org partners only with organizations that share our mission to protect investors, promote transparency, and support long-term financial well-being.

Our affiliate relationships help sustain this educational resource. However, we maintain strict independence standards to ensure that any partnership serves the public interest — never commercial influence.

1. Mission Alignment

Every affiliate, discount, or partnership featured on InvestorJustice.org must:

  • Promote investor literacy, financial recovery, or personal well-being.
  • Reflect fiduciary values and evidence-based consumer protection.
  • Avoid speculative, high-risk, or manipulative financial products.
  • Respect our readers’ privacy, autonomy, and safety.

We focus on partnerships that align with:

  • Financial education, retirement security, and consumer protection.
  • Health and stress management tools that support investor resilience.
  • Verified nonprofit, academic, or certified professional resources.

2. No Conflicts of Interest

InvestorJustice.org does not accept:

  • Broker-dealer or investment advisory commissions.
  • Cryptocurrency, trading, or speculative platform referrals.
  • Endorsements tied to investment performance or portfolio outcomes.
  • Advertising or sponsorships that could influence our editorial work.

All affiliate or partnership opportunities are reviewed by our internal compliance team to ensure they do not conflict with our advocacy for investor protection and transparency.

3. Transparency & Disclosure

Whenever an affiliate link or discount appears on InvestorJustice.org:

  • A clear disclosure will indicate if we may receive a small commission, referral credit, or non-monetary benefit.
  • Commissions or credits are used exclusively to support educational, research, and outreach initiatives.
  • Affiliate status never determines inclusion — all resources are vetted for mission alignment and integrity.
  • Users will never pay extra for using an affiliate link.

Sample disclosure used across our site:

InvestorJustice.org may earn a small commission or referral credit if you choose to use a vetted resource listed here — at no cost to you. We only recommend tools that align with our mission of investor protection and public education.

4. Review & Revocation

All affiliate partnerships and discounts are reviewed annually (or more frequently as needed).

InvestorJustice.org reserves the right to suspend or revoke any affiliate relationship that:

  • Violates our ethical or transparency standards.
  • Becomes inconsistent with our mission or user trust.
  • Engages in misleading or harmful business practices.

Our team may also request documentation or independent verification of a partner’s consumer protection policies.

5. Fiscal Sponsorship & Nonprofit Integrity

InvestorJustice.org operates as an independent transparency and education initiative.
Upon completion of fiscal sponsorship or nonprofit registration:

  • Affiliate revenue will be managed under sponsor oversight in compliance with IRS 501(c)(3)/(c)(4) rules.
  • All financial relationships will be publicly disclosed in our annual transparency report.
  • No affiliate income shall ever create private benefit or conflict with our educational mission.

We adhere to nonprofit ethics standards set by the IRS, FTC, and state charitable regulations.

6. Accountability & Contact

InvestorJustice.org welcomes community feedback on our partnerships and transparency practices.

If you have questions or concerns about an affiliate listing or potential conflict, please contact:
